Job Duties
- Develop knowledge and skills in various cooking procedures and methods including grill, sauté, and fry
- Experience using knives and various kitchen equipment
- Recreate and reach recipes consistently
- Maintain consistent food preparation quality
- Minimize food waste through cross utilization
- Collaborate with the culinary team to create menus
- Prepare ingredients including chopping and peeling vegetables and cutting meat
- Maintain a sanitized and orderly kitchen environment
- Ensure proper storage of food and other items
- Take responsibility for the quality of ingredients
