Job Requirements
- Successful completion of a background check is required prior to employment
- 2+ years of experience in convention services catering or event planning in a hotel or hospitality setting
- Proven experience managing multiple events and client accounts simultaneously
- Familiarity with event management software hotel property management systems PMS and Microsoft Office Suite
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management Business Communications or related field preferred

Job Duties
- Collaborate closely with clients to understand their event objectives and translate them into detailed executable plans
- Serve as the point of contact from contract turnover through post-event follow-up ensuring seamless coordination between departments
- Conduct pre-convention meetings and walkthroughs communicate event details with precision and respond to last-minute requests with poise and professionalism
- Support the sales team by contributing to the pre-event planning process and offering creative on-brand solutions that elevate the guest experience
- Proactively identify opportunities for operational improvement upselling and guest satisfaction enhancements
- Build strong lasting relationships with clients to encourage loyalty and future bookings
