Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic knowledge and understanding of inventory procedures
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Polished appearance and demeanor
  • Ability to obtain and maintain full knowledge and understanding of company and department rules, policies and procedures
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries from other members or guests
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to function under time constraints and meet deadlines with attention to detail
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
  • Willingness and ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, busy, and somewhat stressful environment

Job Duties

  • Retrieve, gather, and relocate all equipment and materials needed for banquet event setup
  • Provide prompt, courteous service to banquet guests while maintaining a friendly and pleasant atmosphere
  • Provide quality service to both internal and external guests by maintaining established quality standards for timely banquet service
  • Maintain safe and sanitary conditions in banquet service areas and for all banquet equipment
  • Assist other banquet members when needed
  • Perform side work including cleaning duties such as vacuuming, dusting, trash removal, sweeping, wiping down, and organizing storage and BOH areas
  • Maintain a clean and well-groomed appearance in compliance with dress code
  • Communicate clearly with management via radio in a timely manner
