Job Description
The Convening & Event Manager role involves planning and coordinating group accommodations, meetings, banquets, and more to meet and exceed customer expectations. The position focuses on ensuring all arrangements are executed seamlessly and to the clients' satisfaction.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field is required
- Events experience is necessary
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software
- Ability to work both independently and with a team in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of hotel structure and department interactions
- Familiarity with Food & Beverage preparation techniques, health department rules, liquor laws, and policies
