Job Requirements

  • Must be eligible to work in the United States
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol screen and background check
  • Willingness to work some nights and weekends
  • Willingness to travel at least 10% of the time including training and site launches

Job Qualifications

  • FAA-issued P107 remote pilot certificate
  • Completion of Zipline Flight Controller (RPIC) training
  • Prior experience with UAS or traditional flight operations
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Technical problem solver with data fluency
  • Self-starter attitude with a team-oriented mindset
  • Attention to detail in hands-on and administrative tasks

Job Duties

  • Safely execute commercial flights as the responsible person in charge for all uncrewed aircraft arriving, departing, and aloft including preflight planning, pre-shift briefing, ongoing weather checks, and airspace monitoring
  • Conduct test flights as required following all protocols and procedures
  • Ensure compliance with documented policies, procedures, and regulatory permissions
  • Complete administrative, training, qualification, and proficiency activities promptly and on schedule
  • Respond appropriately and timely to downtime, fleet issues, and other operational abnormalities
  • Assist with audits and operational oversight including safety and compliance upon request
