Job Description
Milgard Windows and Doors in Tacoma, WA is seeking a Continuous Improvement Coordinator to work closely with the Technical Services Manager in driving projects and upgrades on the manufacturing floor. This role involves kaizen event facilitation, project sustainability, standard work audits, MOS Board assistance, Job Instruction training, and remedial training, aiming to enhance production processes and Lean methodologies within the company.
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- two plus years of experience in custom manufacturing and warehouse processes
- two plus years of experience in Continuous Improvement initiatives and projects
- demonstrated understanding of excellent customer service
- strong written and oral communication skills
- exceptional time management skills
- strong MS Office Skills (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- computer literacy with the ability to learn new software programs
- sense of urgency and self-motivation
- ability to motivate employees and achieve results
- proven employee development and team-building skills
