The role involves comprehensive responsibilities including developing and maintaining project schedules, overseeing site activities to guarantee safety and productivity, controlling labor and material budgets, and ensuring adherence to quality standards set forth by architectural and engineering specifications. The Project Manager will engage closely with project stakeholders, coordinate turn-over meetings, manage submittal processes for compliance, and prepare detailed project execution and flash reports. The position demands frequent travel to project locations to monitor progress firsthand and foster effective communication and problem-solving.

Job Requirements

- Preference for bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or construction management
- Experience working in the fast-paced, industry-relevant field of construction management as a project manager for two plus years
- In-depth knowledge of OSHA guidelines, equipment and construction procedures
- Role requires the individual to express or exchange ideas verbally and effectively
- Experience working with Procore (project management software) is a major plus
- Must be computer proficient, PC, Microsoft Office, MS Project
- Good communication skills (written and verbal)

Job Duties
- Making sure that all construction activities are performed in a timely and cost-efficient basis to effectively meet all scheduled due dates and job estimates regarding materials and labor
- Coordinate all job-related activities to maintain a safe and productive environment for all on-site personnel
- Maintain tight controls on all labor and material needs to ensure operational efficiencies and overall budgetary controls
- Willingness and ability to travel and visit project wherever the project is located at least once every week
- Coordinate project turn over meeting with estimating, PM/Estimator and checklist signoff
- Produce a comprehensive project schedule including revisions, provide weekly status reports
- and be prepared to discuss if on schedule or behind, if behind schedule, have a plan to mitigate
- Complete a project execution plan prior to starting the project, update monthly or as necessary
- Process submittals to meet DB standards / Owner contract requirements including sign off by DB PM and approved by Architect, Engineer or Owner prior to procurement or performance of the work
- Complete project flash reports prior to Monday status meetings
- Ensure Site Managers provide daily reports for the VP of Operations and others as directed
- Prior to the start of construction for each job, review and ensure that files for all appropriate information, tools, equipment, materials, etc. are available and maintained
- Responsible for the highest level of quality of construction at all times
- Ensure all projects are performed in a quality manner as per the drawings, specifications, addendums and scope of work
- Update project financials monthly
