Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field
  • minimum 10 years of construction management experience preferably in airport projects
  • minimum 3 years of airport project experience or 5 years in other critical facility environments
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office suite including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Project
  • ability to understand design and construction intent
  • ability to lead teams and coordinate multiple stakeholders
  • strong communication and leadership skills

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field
  • 10+ years construction management experience preferably in airport projects
  • 3+ years of airport project experience or 5+ years in other critical facility environments
  • strong background in planning, leadership, organizing, and team coordination
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project)
  • ability to understand design and construction intent
  • certifications preferred such as AAAE, LEED, PMP, PE, CCM, or equivalent professional licensure

Job Duties

  • Lead nightly huddle at 2330 hrs and distribute roadway bulletin, terminal bulletin, and daily roadway map
  • Lead morning huddle at 0630 hrs and prepare/distribute attendee report with ASR/construction activities
  • Conduct physical inspections at active construction sites
  • Verify personnel count deployed
  • Ensure correct ASR is in possession of project supervisor and displayed on vehicles
  • Confirm barricading and signage per approved ASR
  • Validate scheduled deliveries are authorized and coordinated at huddles
  • Coordinate with safety/inspection teams and escalate violations to LAWA police and operations
  • Take and label photos of vehicles, equipment, traffic flow, passenger movement, barricades/signage
  • Produce nightly report with written narrative, photos, personnel count, late flight information, and attach relevant documents
  • Upload reports to CALMSHARE, save on V Drive, and distribute to stakeholders
  • Ensure public area construction has proper barricades/signage
  • Coordinate with contractors to correct deficiencies and escalate to CALM sign shop manager if needed
  • Collaborate with TDG, FMUG, OPS, TSA, IT, safety/inspections, and airport police
  • Develop protocols for orderly shutdowns minimizing passenger/tenant/contractor disruption
  • Meet regularly with CALM ARM lead for recommendations on staffing, procedures, and protocols
  • Develop tools for tracking and record-keeping
