The position of Connected Communities & Events Manager at Alliance Mobile is a field-based, revenue-focused role designed to strategically drive sales outside the traditional retail environment. This role plays a crucial part in expanding AT&T subscriber activations through the Connected Communities & Multi-Dwelling Unit (MDU) programs. Reporting directly to the Market Director, the Connected Communities & Events Manager is expected to cultivate and maintain strong partnerships with AT&T Account Managers, retail store teams, and the AT&T NAC Call Center to optimize lead conversion and customer engagement.

This dynamic role requires an outgoing, self-motivated sales professional with excellent interpersonal skills and a passion for building lasting relationships in diverse community settings. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating consistent new subscriber activations by prospecting and engaging residents at ACC properties and MDUs, targeting new move-ins and upgrade opportunities involving wireless service, fiber internet, and DIRECTV Stream. This includes a rigorous schedule of property visits, onsite resident events, and pipeline management to ensure a robust flow of qualified leads.

In addition to sales responsibilities, the Connected Communities & Events Manager serves as the Events Lead for their assigned market. This involves planning, scheduling, and executing off-site sales events at a variety of non-traditional venues such as shopping centers, farmers markets, community events, and corporate campuses. Leadership in event coordination is essential for driving non-traditional revenue streams and expanding market presence. The role demands excellent time management, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently while maintaining strong collaborative relationships.

Compensation for this full-time remote position includes a base salary ranging from $50,000 to $60,000 annually, supplemented by a performance-based commission structure with total at-risk earning potential of approximately 50%. Benefits include medical, dental, vision coverage, paid time off, parental leave, performance bonuses, discounts on AT&T services, tuition support, and insurance options available after 60 days of employment. Due to the nature of the role, candidates must have a reliable personal vehicle, a valid driver’s license, and automobile insurance to manage daily travel requirements efficiently.

Job Requirements

Job Qualifications

  • Proven sales skills with a record of exceeding targets, strong customer service orientation, excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong time management and organizational skills, prospecting skills and comfort with cold outreach and community engagement, experience with pipeline management and ability to handle multiple accounts, ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends, wireless telecom or direct sales experience preferred, AT&T product knowledge is a plus

Job Duties

  • Prospect and engage new and existing residents at ACC properties and multi-dwelling units, execute a minimum of 20 property visits and 2 onsite resident events per week, generate and manage a pipeline of qualified leads and transfer prospects to the AT&T NAC Call Center for fiber internet order activations, conduct daily follow-up calls with prospects and current customers, maintain an updated account list with notes on renewal eligibility and discount opportunities, build and sustain strong working relationships with AT&T Connected Communities Account Managers and property management groups, prepare monthly action plans and performance reports for assigned ACC properties, serve as the events lead by planning and executing off-site sales events, identify and schedule events at non-traditional venues, staff and coordinate events with retail store associates, track event performance and report results, maintain and report weekly performance metrics and sales forecasts, complete all required AT&T training, communicate proactively with the Market Director on performance and opportunities
