Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong organizational skills with experience handling multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Minimum 2 years customer service and administrative support experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Hospitality experience preferred
  • Excellent knowledge of San Diego

Job Duties

  • Maintain client account, meeting and booking data in CRM
  • Engage with member partners to enhance their experience and assist with partner referrals
  • Maintain information in database
  • Manage inventory of sales client gifts and promotional items
  • Prepare and process sales leads and follow-up
  • Assist and prepare research for responses to RFPs as directed by National Sales Directors, VP of Sales and Chief Sales Officer
  • Coordinate amenity and attraction ticket deliveries for clients arriving in San Diego
  • Coordinate logistics and itineraries for client visits to San Diego
  • Coordinate customer travel and itineraries for site experiences
  • Assist with coordinating Familiarization tours as needed
  • Assist customers with destination insight and services
  • Assign leads based on team deployment utilizing various sourcing platforms
  • Prepare monthly reports, documents for the Hotel Meetings Team along with other departmental communications, reports and presentations
  • Maintain SDTA’s sales collateral
