Job Requirements
- High school diploma required with relevant experience in event coordination customer service or administrative support
- Ability to work evenings weekends and extended hours during peak event seasons
- Ability to travel between campus locations as needed
- Ability to stand walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift or move event-related equipment
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma required with relevant experience in event coordination customer service or administrative support
- An associate degree in Business Hospitality Event Management or a related field is preferred but not required
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with a diverse range of individuals
- Comfortable managing multiple tasks timelines and priorities in a dynamic fast-paced environment
- Willingness and ability to work evenings weekends and extended hours during peak event seasons travelling between campus locations as needed
- Ability to stand walk for extended periods and lift or move event-related equipment such as tables and chairs
Job Duties
- Assist in planning and coordinating operations and administrative tasks related to event logistics including budgets invoices and purchase orders
- Coordinate all logistical aspects of events such as room scheduling housing assignments catering facility setup security and media services by collaborating with various UNE departments
- Serve as the primary on-site contact during events providing outstanding customer service to faculty professional staff clients and vendors
- Oversee assigned programs and events ensuring smooth execution from start to finish
- Supervise and provide guidance to student staff involved in the Summer Conference Program
- Perform other related duties as assigned
