Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2 or more years of event services experience
  • Proficiency with technology tools related to event coordination
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility to work non-standard hours including evenings and weekends
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks under pressure
  • Strong organizational skills

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of event services experience
  • Strong technology skills including proficiency with BEOs, diagramming tools, and CRM systems
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Understanding of group and social event segments
  • Ability to work flexible hours
  • Proven experience in upselling and client relationship management

Job Duties

  • Collaborate directly with clients to craft detailed, unforgettable event experiences
  • Lead banquet coordination by managing timely BEO creation and distribution
  • Drive revenue through upselling opportunities and proactive communication with clients
  • Monitor guestroom blocks and ensure contracts are on track to avoid attrition charges
  • Manage payments from start to finish, ensuring every invoice is clear and accurate
  • Lead site tours, join pre- and post-event meetings, and be present for event execution
  • Support the Sales and Marketing team with sales activities and revenue checks
