The role of Concrete Delivery Professional at Dolese is a critical position responsible for driving and delivering ready-mix concrete to various job sites including industrial, commercial, and residential construction projects. This position demands adherence to the Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations as well as Dolese's internal policies focused on operational safety, vehicle maintenance, and quality control during concrete delivery. The Concrete Delivery Professional operates heavy-duty mixer trucks, maintaining strict safety standards to ensure the safe, timely, and efficient delivery of concrete that meets customer expectations.
This position not only requires technical skills in operating specialized vehicles but also a high level of attention to safety practices and customer communication. The Concrete Delivery Professional must conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections, perform routine vehicle maintenance such as fueling and cleaning, and oversee the consistent quality of the concrete mix during transport. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- hold a valid Class A or Class B CDL license
- maintain clean and safe driving record
- active DOT medical certification
- ability to lift up to 100 lbs. frequently
- able to work up to 16 hours per day with a maximum of 11 hours driving time according to DOT Hours of Service regulations
- willing to work in various weather conditions
- ability to perform sustained physical tasks including climbing, balancing, bending, and prolonged standing
- ability to work safely around heavy equipment
- demonstrate good communication skills
- willing to work nights, overtime, and weekends
- reliable attendance
- ability to follow safety regulations and company policies
Job Qualifications
- Possess a Class A or Class B CDL license
- maintain a clean and safe driving record
- have active DOT qualification

- able to work independently without direct supervision

Job Duties
- Operate and drive a ready mix truck in compliance with DOT and company regulations
- perform vehicle maintenance including fueling, cleaning, and inspections
- conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- inspect concrete consistency visually in the mixer
- maintain cleanliness of mixer truck using appropriate tools
- complete and maintain a DOT Daily Log Book
- communicate job hazards and coordinate safely with site workers using radios or hand signals
- use relevant technology such as eTicket systems
- exercise good judgment on worksite access and delivery operations
- assist maintenance repairs when needed
- maintain a professional and positive attitude with coworkers and customers
- support training of coworkers as needed
- ensure regular and reliable attendance
- perform additional assigned duties as needed
