Job Description

Maschmeyer Concrete Company of Florida is a well-established, family-oriented business that has been serving the state for over 30 years. Known as one of the leading privately-held ready-mix concrete and building materials suppliers in Florida, this company prides itself on its strong customer and team relationships, built through the relentless pursuit of its mission and core values. The company fosters a superior work atmosphere within a family environment, emphasizing respect, safety, and the empowerment of its employees. Maschmeyer Concrete is also committed to promoting a diverse and inclusive workplace, clearly stating its status as a Florida Drug-Free Workplace and participation in E-Verify for employment authorization verification. Furthermore, the company strictly prohibits any form of discrimination or harassment, ensuring an equitable workplace for all its employees and applicants regardless of race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, pregnancy, childbirth, sexual orientation, gender identity or any legally protected status.

The role of Concrete Delivery Professional at Maschmeyer Concrete demands a highly motivated and dependable individual to join the teams operating at various Ready-Mix Concrete Plants located in major cities throughout Florida. Although prior experience in the ready-mix concrete or construction industry is preferred, it is not an absolute requirement, making this an excellent opportunity for candidates eager to start or expand a career in this field. The position primarily involves the safe and efficient operation of mixer trucks to deliver concrete products directly to customers' job sites. This includes responsibilities such as attaching chutes, controlling concrete discharge, and monitoring drum conditions to ensure the delivered product meets customer specifications. Candidates must be capable of maintaining a clean and safe vehicle and be comfortable working a schedule that includes six days a week, Monday through Saturday, with the benefit of being home every night. Effective communication skills are essential, as the role requires interaction with customers, dispatch, and fellow team members while providing excellent customer service. The company offers competitive pay with frequent opportunities for overtime and a host of benefits designed to support the well-being and financial security of its employees. These benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance, company-paid basic life insurance and long-term disability, a 401K plan with company match, paid holidays, and weekly accrued paid time off. This role is perfect for individuals looking for a stable, respected employer in the Florida construction supply industry with a community-oriented culture and clear commitment to employee support and safety.
