The role of the Concrete Delivery Professional at Dolese is essential and dynamic, involving the safe and efficient driving and delivery of ready-mix concrete to various construction sites including industrial, commercial, and residential projects. Job Requirements

  • Must possess a Class A or Class B CDL license
  • Clean and safe driving record
  • Ability to maintain an active DOT qualification
  • Availability to work nights, overtime, and weekends as required
  • Physical ability to work up to 16 hours with a maximum of 11 hours driving per day as per DOT regulations
  • Ability to lift up to 100 lbs frequently
  • Capability to perform sustained overhead reaching
  • Ability to work in high noise environments
  • Willingness to work at heights up to 12 feet
  • Ability to work near light or heavy equipment
  • Capability to climb stairs and ladders repeatedly
  • Ability to balance, bend, crawl, kneel, push, and pull
  • Frequent use of vibration tools
  • Tolerance to outdoor weather conditions
  • Ability to stand, walk, sit for extended periods
  • Ability to walk on uneven surfaces repeatedly

Job Qualifications

  • Must possess a Class A or Class B CDL license

Job Duties

  • Operate and drive a ready mix truck in compliance with DOT and company regulations
  • Demonstrate and follow health, safety, and environmental practices
  • Perform vehicle maintenance including fueling, cleaning, and inspections
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip truck inspections
  • Visually inspect the consistency of concrete in the mixer
  • Maintain cleanliness of mixer truck using water hoses and brushes
  • Complete and maintain a DOT Daily Log Book
  • Communicate job hazards via radio, hand signals, or direct instruction
  • Utilize tools and technology such as eTicket systems
  • Exercise good judgment for worksite access and material unloading
  • Assist maintenance with vehicle repairs
  • Maintain a positive and professional attitude with coworkers and customers
  • Assist in training new employees
  • Ensure regular and reliable attendance at assigned locations
  • Perform other job-related tasks as assigned
