Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in customer service roles
- Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to provide directions and escort patients
- Flexibility to work variable shifts including weekends as needed
- Union membership within 31 days of hiring
Job Qualifications
- Experience in dealing with multiple demands simultaneously
- Strong customer service background
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Some college coursework preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
- Ability to train and supervise volunteers and new staff
Job Duties
- Provide exemplary customer service to all patients, visitors and staff
- Manage multiple demands and prioritize tasks effectively
- Maintain a safe and clean lobby environment including wheelchairs and lost and found
- Provide directions, escort patients and arrange transportation services
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to problem identification and solutions
- Train and orient volunteers and new front desk staff
- Utilize service recovery techniques to resolve customer issues
