Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in customer service roles
  • Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to provide directions and escort patients
  • Flexibility to work variable shifts including weekends as needed
  • Union membership within 31 days of hiring

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in dealing with multiple demands simultaneously
  • Strong customer service background
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Some college coursework preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
  • Ability to train and supervise volunteers and new staff

Job Duties

  • Provide exemplary customer service to all patients, visitors and staff
  • Manage multiple demands and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Maintain a safe and clean lobby environment including wheelchairs and lost and found
  • Provide directions, escort patients and arrange transportation services
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to problem identification and solutions
  • Train and orient volunteers and new front desk staff
  • Utilize service recovery techniques to resolve customer issues
