Job Description
Edgewood Properties is a distinguished real estate development and property management company that has been operational since 1992. With its corporate headquarters located in New Jersey, Edgewood Properties has grown into a prominent player in the multifamily housing sector, managing an extensive portfolio of luxury apartment communities across the United States. The company is currently experiencing a period of significant expansion, with its apartment portfolio expected to double in size from over 6,000 units to more than 12,000 units within the next five years. This ambitious growth strategy reflects the company’s commitment to long-term property ownership and management, rather than divestment, providing stability and sustainable development within the communities it serves.
Edgewood Properties prides itself on delivering high-quality living experiences through well-maintained properties and exceptional customer service. The company’s emphasis on community engagement and resident satisfaction has established it as a top choice for renters seeking comfortable and vibrant living environments in luxury apartment settings.
The Concierge role at Edgewood Properties offers a unique opportunity to join a dynamic team at Sycamore Landing, one of the company’s luxury properties located in Phillipsburg, New Jersey. This full-time position is crucial to the day-to-day operations of the leasing and management office and involves serving as the first point of contact for residents, prospective residents, and visitors. The Concierge is responsible for creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere, ensuring residents feel valued and supported, and facilitating various operational tasks that contribute to a seamless living experience.
Working at Sycamore Landing means embracing a role that balances customer service, community engagement, and administrative responsibilities. The position requires flexibility, as the Concierge must be willing to work weekends and evenings to accommodate the needs of residents and support the leasing team effectively. Responsibilities include managing the front desk, greeting guests, assisting with resident inquiries, coordinating community events, managing package logistics, and supporting office operations. The Concierge will also engage with residents through social media, promoting community lifestyle and available units, thereby enhancing resident retention and community spirit.
This role demands excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Experience in property management or customer service is preferred, along with familiarity with social media platforms and basic knowledge of maintenance coordination and lease management. The company values candidates who are eager to contribute to a positive community atmosphere and support the overall growth and success of Edgewood Properties.
Edgewood Properties offers competitive compensation along with comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, life insurance, 401(k) with company match, and a supportive corporate team environment with advancement opportunities. Additional perks include access to an on-site fitness gym and discounts on housing and home appliances. Edgewood Properties is committed to diversity and equal employment opportunity, welcoming applicants of all backgrounds to apply.
