The role of Concierge Security Supervisor at GardaWorld, based in Portland, Oregon, offers a set schedule working Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m., amounting to 40 hours per week. The position pays $22 per hour and includes access to DailyPay for employee convenience. As a Concierge Security Supervisor, this is more than just a security position; it is a vital role centered on building meaningful connections with clients, visitors, and staff. The concierge post requires a strong focus on customer service, engaging with people in various settings like office towers, hotels, and shopping centers to reassure and inspire confidence.

The responsibilities extend beyond typical security duties to supervising day-to-day security services and ensuring the highest standards of service delivery. This role involves managing access control, conducting patrols to identify risks, inspecting security equipment, and responding to incidents with appropriate urgency, including providing first aid and coordinating with emergency teams. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year security supervising experience
  • Valid drivers license
  • Clean driving record
  • Able to work Monday through Friday, 6 a.m. to 2 p.m.
  • Ability to pass extensive background check and drug screening
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Proficient with basic phone and computer skills
  • Eligible to work in the U.S.
  • At least 21 years old

Job Qualifications

  • Be authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Be able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
  • Be able to ace and pass an extensive screening process
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Proficient in basic phone & computer skills
  • If you have Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience
  • You have a minimum of 1 year of security supervising experience
  • You have a valid drivers license
  • You have a clean driving record
  • You are 21, or older

Job Duties

  • Customer service duties like welcoming, verifying identity, and guiding visitors
  • Manage access control
  • Perform regular patrols to identify potential risks
  • Inspect security equipment and report any maintenance needs
  • Respond to incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams
  • Answer questions in person or by phone
  • Write incident reports and communicate security concerns
  • Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property
  • Ensure that GardaWorld Security core values are integrated into and throughout all business practice
  • Supervise the day-to-day security service provided to the facility and ensure service is of the highest standards - capable of representing GardaWorld as the premier provider of security services in the industry
  • Ensure that operational logs, records and post orders are maintained appropriately
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with client and employees and serve as the liaison between GardaWorld, our client, and our assigned staff
  • Maintain goal of zero safety incidents, while at the same time managing a robust safety culture and a robust safety program that is appropriate to the operating environments
  • Regularly review security officer schedules and staffing levels to identify opportunities for improvement of security operations, decreased risk, and reduced cost where possible
  • Immediate responsibility to direct, supervise, and support shift officers
  • Supervise & manage employees on your shift at your assigned job site
  • Maintain a healthy, professional relationship with our client at the assigned site
  • Exercise independent judgement and sound decision making in performing all duties
  • Additional duties as assigned
