Job Description

GardaWorld Security Services U.S. is a leading global security company renowned for providing sophisticated and tailored security solutions. With a presence that stretches around the world, GardaWorld prides itself on employing and training highly skilled and dedicated security professionals who are committed to ensuring the safety and protection of people and property in diverse environments. The company operates in various sectors including office towers, hotels, shopping centers, and other public and private facilities, making it a versatile and trusted name in security services.

As a Concierge Security Officer with GardaWorld Security Services, you will play a pivotal role combining security expertise with excellent customer service skills. This position requires a professional who can not only maintain safety protocols but also build meaningful connections with the public, creating an atmosphere of reassurance and confidence. Working in Phoenix, AZ, this role involves shifts from 2:00pm to 10:00pm on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and 3:00pm to 11:00pm on Thursdays and Fridays, offering a competitive hourly wage of $23.00. Additionally, employees benefit from DailyPay, enabling access to earned wages when needed.

In this role, your primary responsibility will be to act as the first point of contact for visitors and occupants in the assigned location, ensuring safe access control while providing hospitality-level customer service. You will be tasked with welcoming guests, verifying identities, managing visitor flow, and conducting routine patrols to identify and mitigate potential risks. Your attentiveness to detail will also be key in inspecting security equipment and reporting any maintenance issues promptly. You will respond effectively to incidents, perform first aid if required, coordinate with emergency services, and maintain clear documentation through incident reporting.

The role is particularly suited for individuals who thrive in customer-facing positions, enjoy interacting with diverse groups of people, and possess a strong sense of responsibility for public safety. It is a unique opportunity that blends security duties with concierge hospitality, making it a career path that goes beyond traditional guarding roles. GardaWorld offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan with employer matching, paid time off (PTO), paid holidays, disability coverage, and life insurance. Uniforms are provided free of charge, ensuring a professional appearance at all times.

GardaWorld Security Services is proud to be the only guarding security company in the United States certified by Great Place to Work, highlighting its commitment to maintaining a supportive, inclusive, and rewarding work environment. Employees are encouraged to grow professionally, with clear avenues for career advancement within the organization. Notably, about 26% of corporate staff began their careers as frontline workers, emphasizing the company's dedication to internal development and entrepreneurial spirit.

If you are a motivated, customer-oriented individual authorized to work in the U.S., with a high school diploma or GED, and exceptional communication and customer service skills, this position could be the perfect fit. Those with previous experience in security, military, or law enforcement are especially well suited, though GardaWorld welcomes applicants from various backgrounds who pass the extensive screening process required for employment.
