The role of Concierge Security Officer at GardaWorld Security Services emphasizes a high level of customer service paired with vigilant security measures. This position is based in Chattanooga, Tennessee, offering full-time employment with set schedules across different shifts: Tuesday through Friday from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m.; Thursday through Sunday night shifts from 3 a.m. to 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.; as well as Monday through Thursday night shifts from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. The hourly wage is competitive at $16.48 per hour, with the added convenience of DailyPay availability. The Concierge Security Officer will be responsible for welcoming visitors, verifying identities, managing access control, conducting regular patrols to identify risks, inspecting security equipment, responding to incidents, providing first aid, and coordinating with emergency teams. This role requires exceptional communication skills, as officers will answer questions in person or by phone and write detailed incident reports. The focus is on ensuring the safety and protection of people and property through proactive and courteous service. Candidates should be authorized to work in the U.S., have a high school diploma or GED, pass an extensive screening process, and demonstrate strong customer service skills and basic phone and computer proficiency. Experience in security, military, or law enforcement is advantageous, along with possessing a state security license if required.
