This job opportunity is for the position of Concierge Security Officer based in Chattanooga, Tennessee. This is a full-time role with a set schedule from Thursday through Sunday, covering overnight shifts from 3 a.m. to 7 a.m., and additional shifts from 7 p.m. to 7 p.m. The position offers a competitive hourly wage of $16.48 and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance plans, a 401(k) retirement savings plan with employer matching contributions, paid time off, paid holidays, disability coverage, and life insurance options. GardaWorld also provides employees with their uniforms at no cost, and DailyPay is available for financial flexibility.
The Concierge Security Officer role is distinctively customer-service focused, requiring candidates to demonstrate an exceptional ability to connect with and reassure others. Officers will serve in high-visibility environments including office towers, hotels, shopping centers, and other public-facing settings. The primary responsibility is to ensure the safety and security of individuals and property while maintaining a welcoming and professional presence. This involves greeting visitors, verifying identities, managing access control, performing regular patrols to identify and address security risks, inspecting security equipment, responding to incidents, administering first aid when necessary, and coordinating with emergency responders.
The successful candidate will have strong customer service skills, proficiency in basic phone and computer use, and the ability to pass an extensive screening process including a background check and drug screening. While previous security, military, or law enforcement experience is an advantage, it is not mandatory, and candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. and provide a valid high school diploma or GED. Additionally, candidates hold any required state security licenses to perform their duties legally and effectively.
