Job Description

GardaWorld Security Services is a global leader in delivering sophisticated and tailored security solutions, dedicated to employing and training highly skilled professionals worldwide. Renowned for its commitment to excellence and employee development, GardaWorld offers a range of security services including tactical, surveillance, and concierge roles, making it an exceptional choice for individuals seeking robust career growth in the security industry. The company prides itself on being certified by Great Place to Work, a distinction that underscores its focus on employee satisfaction, career advancement, and maintaining a positive workplace culture.

The Concierge Security Officer position at GardaWorld is based in Salt Lake City, UT, and focuses heavily on customer service within diverse environments such as office towers, hotels, and shopping centers. This full-time role consists of 32 hours per week, with a set schedule covering Thursday afternoons and weekends. The hourly wage is competitive at $18.40 with the added benefit of DailyPay for employees, allowing access to earned wages before payday. Beyond the attractive salary, the position includes a comprehensive benefits package featuring medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan with employer matching, paid time off, paid holidays, disability coverage, and life insurance options. Uniforms are provided at no cost, and there are ample opportunities for career growth within GardaWorld.

As a Concierge Security Officer, your primary duty is to foster a safe and welcoming environment by engaging with visitors and residents in a genuinely reassuring manner. Your role will entail a mix of security and concierge responsibilities, such as greeting visitors, verifying identities, managing access control, and conducting regular patrols to identify potential risks. Safety is paramount, as you will also be expected to respond quickly and efficiently to incidents, provide first aid when necessary, and coordinate with emergency services. Communication skills are crucial: you will answer questions in person and by phone and write detailed incident reports to document and relay security concerns appropriately.

The position emphasizes the importance of customer service, which makes it ideal for individuals who possess a natural ability to connect with people and inspire confidence. Experience is valued, particularly for those with backgrounds in security, military, or law enforcement, though GardaWorld welcomes applications from all qualified candidates who meet the necessary licensing and screening requirements. This role offers not just a job but a promising career path for those who are ambitious and committed to becoming ambassadors of GardaWorld’s values and professionalism.
