Job Description

GardaWorld Security Services is a globally recognized leader in providing sophisticated and tailored security solutions, employing and training highly skilled and dedicated professionals worldwide. Established as the only guarding security company certified by Great Place to Work in the United States, GardaWorld continues to set the gold standard in the industry. With a diverse portfolio of security services ranging from tactical and surveillance roles to concierge positions, GardaWorld is committed to delivering exceptional services to corporate offices, hotels, shopping centers, and more. Their reputation for reliability and professionalism is backed by continuous career growth opportunities, making them an employer of choice in the security sector.

Currently seeking a Concierge Security Officer for their Peoria, IL location, GardaWorld offers a full-time opportunity on the 3rd shift (9 p.m. to 5 a.m.) with a competitive hourly wage of $18.80. The role emphasizes a balance of security duties and outstanding customer service skills. As a Concierge Security Officer, you will be at the frontline of security in dynamic environments such as office towers, hotels, and shopping centers. Your core responsibility will be to build meaningful connections with visitors and occupants, providing reassurance and confidence through professional engagement. This position is ideal for individuals who naturally excel in interpersonal communication and customer-oriented service, alongside the ability to manage security controls effectively.

In this role, you will greet and verify identities of visitors, manage access control systems, perform routine patrols to identify risks and potential hazards, and oversee the inspection of security equipment to ensure it remains operational. You will be responding to incidents with a calm, composed demeanor, providing first aid if necessary, and coordinating with emergency teams to handle critical situations appropriately. Additionally, your sharp observation and communication skills will enable you to write detailed incident reports and escalate security concerns promptly, ensuring the safety and protection of individuals and property at all times.

GardaWorld also takes pride in nurturing their employees by providing comprehensive benefits that support both well-being and financial security. These include medical, dental, and vision insurance plans, a 401(k) retirement savings plan with employer matching contributions, and a paid time off (PTO) policy along with paid holidays. Other benefits such as disability coverage and life insurance options further enhance the overall compensation package. Uniforms are provided at no cost, underscoring GardaWorld's commitment to equipping their officers with everything needed to perform their duties effectively.

This position is contingent on the successful completion of a background check and drug screening post-offer, consistent with GardaWorld's stringent hiring protocols to uphold safety and trust. The company also maintains a strong policy of equal employment opportunity, welcoming diverse candidates without discrimination based on race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, veteran status, or disability in full compliance with federal, state, and local laws.

Embarking on a career with GardaWorld Security as a Concierge Security Officer means more than just a job; it's an opportunity for professional development, community engagement, and becoming an ambassador of a globally respected security brand. If you have experience in security, military, or law enforcement, it adds value, but the critical elements remain your ability to engage with people and your dedication to safety and service.
