Job Description
Planned Companies is a distinguished property management organization committed to enhancing the living experiences of tenants through exceptional service and community engagement. As a leader in lifestyle services, Planned Companies integrates professionalism with personalized attention, ensuring that every property under its care is not only well-maintained and secure but also welcoming and responsive to the unique needs of its residents and visitors. The company values the importance of first impressions and quality interaction, recognizing that these aspects are as crucial as property upkeep for sustaining tenant satisfaction and loyalty.
The Concierge role at Planned Companies represents a vital connection point between tenants, guests, vendors, and the broader community. This position is designed for individuals who are enthusiastic, courteous, and knowledgeable, capable of delivering not just routine services but also unique, customized experiences tailored to the personalities and lifestyles of residents. Working a consistent schedule from Tuesday to Saturday, 3 pm to 11 pm, with a pay rate of $19.75 an hour, the Concierge is expected to execute a range of responsibilities that contribute to the smooth operation and welcoming atmosphere of the property.
This role requires the Concierge to perform diverse tasks such as greeting visitors, announcing arrivals, and directing individuals within the building to ensure seamless navigation and accessibility. Building strong relationships with tenants is essential, as the Concierge will be managing appointments and reservations for restaurants, entertainment venues, and other services, as well as organizing on-site events that foster community spirit and engagement.
Beyond guest interaction, this position involves practical duties such as monitoring deliveries, securing mail and vendor services, answering telephones, maintaining lobby oversight, and managing keys and access cards, all of which are crucial for security and operational efficiency. The Concierge acts as an ambassador of the property, helping tenants access local entertainment, dining, retail, sporting events, tourist attractions, and car services, thereby enriching their daily living experience.
The role demands excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, familiarity with local attractions, and the ability to multitask effectively while maintaining a polite and friendly demeanor. Physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds is also necessary, reflecting the hands-on nature of some duties. Planned Companies values individuals who demonstrate self-assurance and a passion for providing a warm and welcoming environment.
Employment with Planned Companies includes comprehensive benefits for full-time associates, such as medical, dental, vision, and ancillary benefits, as well as access to a 401K plan with employer matching for all employees. The company upholds a commitment to equal opportunity and inclusivity, ensuring fair employment practices without discrimination. Overall, the Concierge position offers a dynamic, rewarding opportunity to contribute to a vibrant community-centric environment while advancing your career within a reputable company.
