As a Temporary Concierge at Roberts Resorts & Communities, you will be an important face of the resort from approximately October 1, 2026, through April 15, 2027. This role is pivotal in delivering outstanding customer service to guests and residents while promoting the resort’s amenities and surrounding local attractions. Beyond greeting and assisting new arrivals, the Concierge supports guests with detailed knowledge of events and activities happening both within the resort and throughout the area. This unique position requires a dynamic individual who enjoys interaction with people, thrives in fast-paced environments, and has a passion for providing memorable guest experiences.
The Concierge role entails several responsibilities that blend customer service, event coordination, and sales support. You will greet guests warmly upon arrival, offering helpful information and directions about internal and external activities. Additionally, when the sales team is unavailable, you will provide tours of the clubhouse to prospective buyers, showcasing the resort's offerings and lifestyle. Attending and contributing to the weekly Buzz event held in the ballroom is another key aspect of this position, where you will distribute informational flyers, answer questions, and ensure guests are well-informed about upcoming events. This role is fundamental in creating a welcoming atmosphere that promotes community engagement and maximizes guest satisfaction.
Succeeding in this role requires excellent communication skills, proficiency in computer software (Word, Publisher, and video-making tools), and the ability to multitask effectively. Your knowledge of the resort's facilities, local attractions, and networking with nearby chambers of commerce will be essential to provide guests with accurate and up-to-date information. Additionally, problem-solving skills and resourcefulness are vital, as you will often be called upon to address guest needs promptly and creatively. The ability to maintain professionalism and composure in a fast-paced environment is paramount to uphold the company’s high standards of service.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- One to two years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs
- Ability to perform physical activities including lifting, bending, kneeling, and reaching overhead
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure
- Strong customer service excellence

Job Duties
- Perform customer service tasks including meeting and greeting new guests

- Answer phones and respond to guest inquiries
- Keep up-to-date with events within the resort and in the local area
