Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous sales or customer service experience preferred
- ability to stand for up to 8 hours and lift up to 50 lbs
- excellent communication skills
- ability to work in a fast-paced, loud environment
- must be available for the entire duration of the show run
- professional appearance and adherence to dress code
- must obtain Certificate of Fitness for Temporary Indoor/Outdoor Place of Assembly Safety Personnel (F-04)
Job Qualifications
- Have up-sell and advanced sales experience
- possess the ability to learn a ticketing software and retain a high level of complex information
- be comfortable working in loud environment
- have a professional, clean appearance with a straight posture
- be physically able to stand for long hours and travel up-and-down stairs frequently
- understand customer service and hospitality and have a welcoming and friendly attitude
- work well with others, paying attention to details while working efficiently under pressure
- know when to get the help of a supervisor
- availability for the entire run in the city
- speak English - other languages are an asset
- must obtain a Certificate of Fitness for Temporary Indoor/Outdoor Place of Assembly Safety Personnel (F-04)
Job Duties
- Posses a natural, sales-driven focus
- sell seat upgrades, VIP packages and tickets using Cirque du Soleil's ticketing system
- assist guests with purchase decisions and answer all questions with confidence and efficiency
- resolve guest conflicts with guidance from supervisor
- maintain knowledge of products currently available to guests
- understand and relate purchasing policies to guests
- collect complete and accurate data from guests
- follow proper cash handling procedures and reconcile daily transactions
- resolve guests' requests and/or complaints in a timely, courteous, and informed manner
- contribute to the box office environment that is conducive to customer service, sales promotion, safety, and quality of work life
- keep the working environment clean and organized
- perform other duties, as required
