Lighthouse Pointe by Barclay House, a part of QSL Management's senior living portfolio, is currently seeking a Concierge to join their dynamic team. This role offers an outstanding opportunity for individuals passionate about serving others and contributing positively to the lives of older adults. This is a part-time position focusing on weekend shifts with potential for additional shift coverage, ideal for those seeking flexible work in a rewarding environment. The Concierge plays a critical role as the first point of contact, delivering high-level hospitality to residents, guests, and employees. Duties include managing front desk responsibilities such as answering calls with professionalism and courtesy, directing visitors, maintaining cleanliness in common areas, assisting with activities and office tasks, and supporting dining room services. The ideal candidate will embody the company’s core values, possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.

Job Requirements

  • Must have a caring heart and willingness to serve others
  • high school diploma/GED
  • two years general office experience including reception
  • experience working with older adult population preferred
  • professional and polished with proper grammar skills and pleasant voice tone
  • excellent interpersonal, organizational, time management and oral/written skills
  • ability to work in a team environment
  • attentive to details, able to multi-task and work with multiple interruptions
  • basic knowledge of Microsoft Word preferred
  • basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel preferred
  • ability to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Offer high level hospitality to all residents, guests and employees
  • fulfill front desk responsibilities including answering phones courteously with proper greetings
  • direct visitors appropriately ensuring in/out procedures are followed
  • ensure lobby and front porch area is clean and free of trash
  • assist with activities conducted in the lobby and lead weekend/evening activities when less traffic occurs
  • assist with general office tasks as requested
  • assist with dining room services
