Job Description

The hiring establishment is a distinguished senior living community committed to enriching the lives of its residents by providing an elevated way of life filled with comfort, connection, and joy. This community is dedicated to fostering an environment where seniors can thrive in a supportive and caring atmosphere that values their well-being and independence. Known for its commitment to quality service and compassionate care, the community places a strong emphasis on creating a welcoming and engaging environment for both residents and visitors alike. This organization is focused on upholding high standards in senior living, maintaining a clean, safe, and aesthetically pleasing environment that supports the diverse needs of its inhabitants and their families.

We are currently seeking to fill two Concierge positions within this senior living community. These positions report directly to the Associate Executive Director and operate on an hourly basis, with working hours scheduled Monday through Friday from 5 pm to 8 pm, and Saturday through Sunday from 4 pm to 8 pm. The Concierge role is pivotal as it offers the first impression of the community to visitors and potential new residents. This position requires a warm and professional individual responsible for greeting visitors, managing telephone communications via a multi-line system, coordinating tours of the property, and providing essential clerical support to the administrative staff. The Concierge must embody the community’s mission through courteous interactions and exceptional service, showcasing knowledge of the community’s programs, services, and facilities.

As a Concierge, you will be the face of the community, ensuring every visitor feels welcomed and every inquiry is handled with efficiency and respect. This role involves managing the reception area to maintain a neat, orderly, and inviting space, organizing the display of current literature, and ensuring refreshments are available to guests. Additionally, the Concierge is responsible for sorting and processing mail, aiding administrative staff with clerical tasks, and supporting the community’s marketing efforts by providing positive interactions with the public. Physical demands require the ability to stand and walk continuously, handle lifting and carrying of light weights, and perform tasks that may involve bending, squatting, and reaching. The ideal candidate will have patience, professionalism, and an enthusiastic attitude, able to interact graciously with residents, visitors, staff, and families of various maturity levels.

This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who enjoys a dynamic work environment and is passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors. If you are committed to delivering exceptional customer service and fostering a welcoming community atmosphere, this role provides a rewarding platform to develop your career within the senior living sector.
