The Concierge role at Gable Pines is a hospitality-focused position integral to the day-to-day operations of the community. As the frontline ambassador, the Concierge is the first point of contact for residents, guests, prospective employees, suppliers, vendors, and outside service providers. This role requires a warm, professional demeanor and excellent communication skills, as the Concierge is responsible for greeting and assisting visitors in a manner that reflects the values and welcoming spirit of Gable Pines. Beyond greeting guests, the Concierge provides essential telephone coverage, handles the receipt and logging of delivery packages, and prepares maintenance work orders as requested by residents and staff. The Concierge also supports the Business Office Manager with various projects and assignments, contributing to the overall efficiency and smooth operation of the community.
This part-time role offers a competitive hourly wage of $15.50 and operates on a specific schedule: every other Friday from 4 pm to 8 pm, every other Saturday from 3 pm to 8 pm, and every other Sunday from 8 am to 3 pm. Job Duties
- Provide ongoing telephone coverage
- Solve issues presented by residents, guests, vendors, and suppliers to meet organizational objectives and ensure appropriate service
- Keep difficult situations from escalating
- Accept delivery packages, document receipt in log book, and notify the resident
- Prepare maintenance work orders as requested by residents and staff
- Assist the Business Office Manager with projects and assignments
