The role of Community Escort at Senior Lifestyle is crucial in maintaining the welcoming and safe atmosphere cherished by the community. This position is responsible for greeting residents, visitors, and potential new members, providing general assistance that supports daily operations and community engagement. The Community Escort acts as a frontline representative of Senior Lifestyle’s dedication to hospitality and service excellence. Duties include answering telephone calls, processing reports such as work orders and incident logs, and assisting other departments with administrative responsibilities. The role also involves monitoring the safety and security of the community by overseeing surveillance systems and building alarms, ensuring any unusual activity is promptly investigated to protect residents and property. An important aspect of the role includes managing the receipt and delivery of packages, plants, prescription medications, and other items, ensuring items are handled securely and according to community protocols. Maintaining sign in/out logs for community keys and gate passes is essential for controlled access and security. This role demands a professional demeanor, effective communication skills, and the ability to respond quickly to resident and family concerns with empathy and efficiency.

This position requires someone compassionate and kind, who can work independently as well as part of a team. Job Duties

  • Greet residents and provide general assistance to visitors, prospective residents, and families
  • answer telephone calls
  • monitor surveillance cameras, door alarms, life safety systems, and building alarms to ensure the safety of residents and property
  • investigate any unusual activity
  • process reports such as work orders, incidents, and concerns
  • receive packages, plants, prescription drugs and deliver or hold as requested
