Job Requirements

21 years of age
Proof of authorization/eligibility to work in the United States
High school diploma or equivalent
Must be able to obtain and maintain valid Alcohol Awareness Card, Health Card, Non-Gaming Card and other certifications/licenses as required
1 - 3 years of previous Concierge experience
Exceptional communication skills
Ability to work in a high volume luxury resort
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English, both spoken and written
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to work varied shifts including nights, weekends and holidays
Ability to lift or carry 10 pounds unassisted
Ability to access all property areas
Ability to maintain composure under pressure and meet deadlines
Ability to interact effectively with guests, management, and team members
Ability to walk, stand, stretch, bend, and kneel for prolonged periods
Ability to work in fast-paced, busy environment
Ability to work indoors with exposure to noise, dust, cigarette smoke

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
1 - 3 years of previous experience as a Concierge
Exceptional communication skills
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English, spoken and written
Strong interpersonal skills to communicate with guests and team members of various backgrounds and experience
Ability to work varied shifts including nights, weekends and holidays
Bachelor’s Degree preferred
Multilingual abilities preferred
Typing speed of at least 45 words per minute preferred
Polished, professional appearance preferred

Job Duties

Maintain complete knowledge of all hotel features, services attractions, amenities, locations and hours of operation, hotel and competitor restaurant food concepts, menu price range, dress code and ambiance, hotel suite types, numbers/names, layout appointments, amenities, and locations, local events, attractions, holiday schedules
Anticipate guest's needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests, however busy and whatever time of day
Maintain positive guest relations at all times by resolving complaints and ensuring guest satisfaction
Maintain Concierge code of ethics and behave in a professional and kind manner representing The Venetian Resort and Concierge Services Department
Comply with all departmental policies, service procedures and standards
Provide information to guest inquiries and coordinate guest requests by creating meaningful itineraries for special arrangements or services efficiently, professionally, and graciously
Ensure safety as an essential job function
Maintain consistent and regular attendance
Perform other related duties as assigned
