Job Description
HumanGood is a leading company dedicated to reimagining senior living and creating vibrant communities where older adults can thrive. Our mission centers around fostering an environment where residents not only live but flourish, supported by compassionate and professional staff. As a respected name in the senior living sector, HumanGood prides itself on delivering exceptional care and hospitality services that enhance the quality of life for our residents. We are committed to innovation, community engagement, and making a meaningful impact in the lives of older adults. Our work culture emphasizes collaboration, respect, and continuous development, providing employees with the support and resources needed to excel and grow in their careers.
The Concierge role at HumanGood plays a pivotal part in shaping the first and lasting impressions for all visitors, residents, potential residents, families, and vendors entering our communities. This position functions as the heart of hospitality and service within the premises, offering a warm welcome while ensuring smooth communication and operational flow. As the initial point of contact, the Concierge is responsible for greeting guests with professionalism and courtesy, managing incoming calls, taking messages, and delivering important information accurately and promptly. This position supports marketing and sales efforts by providing an overview of community features and services to those inquiring, thereby contributing to resident acquisition and satisfaction.
Beyond greeting and communications, the Concierge assists residents with various essential services such as coordinating transportation, managing mail and deliveries, and organizing visitor access. Ensuring the privacy, rights, and safety of residents is paramount and is strictly maintained throughout all interactions. Administrative duties include operating telephone consoles or switchboards, utilizing office equipment like computers, fax machines, and copiers, and performing general clerical tasks that support overall community operations. As a team member representing HumanGood, the Concierge is expected to uphold a professional demeanor and work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance resident experiences and satisfaction.
This is a per diem/on-call position, with a schedule that varies depending on community needs, including morning and evening shifts, weekends, and holiday coverage. Compensation ranges from $20 to $24 per hour, reflecting the value HumanGood places on quality service and professional dedication. Working at HumanGood means being part of a larger purpose-driven organization where you contribute to making positive changes in senior living every day.
Joining HumanGood offers a comprehensive rewards package that supports team members' health, financial security, and well-being, adding up to 40 percent in value beyond base salary. Benefits include health, dental, and vision plans starting the first month following employment, generous paid time off with accrued leave based on service length, a 401(k) plan with employer matching, health savings account options, tuition reimbursement, and ongoing education programs. Additional perks such as a cell phone stipend and access to employee assistance programs further enrich the employment experience. HumanGood values the personal and professional growth of its employees and fosters opportunities for leadership development within a supportive and inclusive community environment.
Ultimately, working as a Concierge at HumanGood means playing a key role in enhancing seniors' lives by creating a welcoming and secure environment while being part of a company that truly values and invests in its team members. We invite individuals who are passionate about service and community impact to join us and help make a difference, contributing to a senior living experience that is not only caring but transformative.
