Job Description

Monarch Spring Meadows Senior Living is a reputable senior living community dedicated to providing top-tier services and amenities to its residents. Known for its commitment to delivering personalized and attentive care, Monarch Spring Meadows caters to seniors with a range of living options that include Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Mosaic by Monarch Memory Care apartments. The establishment prides itself on fostering a warm, welcoming environment where residents can enjoy a high quality of life supported by a compassionate, professional team. The community emphasizes respectful and individualized care, ensuring that every resident’s unique needs and preferences are met with dignity and compassion. The staff at Monarch Spring Meadows are not only skilled but also genuinely passionate about enhancing the well-being of their residents through engaging activities, social programs, and attentive support.

The Concierge position at Monarch Spring Meadows Senior Living plays a vital role in creating a positive first impression for all who enter the community. Reporting to the Business Operations Director, this non-exempt, hourly role is offered on a per diem basis, meaning candidates should expect to work on an as-needed schedule with weekend availability required. Typical shift hours range from early morning to evening across weekdays and weekends, accommodating the dynamic nature of senior living community operations. The hourly wage for this role is competitive, with a pay range from $20.00 to $20.60 per hour.

In this role, the Concierge acts as the initial point of contact for residents, visitors, and staff, helping to facilitate smooth communication and support within the community. Responsibilities include managing incoming communications through phone calls, greeting and assisting guests, providing community information to prospective residents and their families, and supporting sales and marketing efforts by offering relevant overviews of the community amenities and services. The Concierge also handles essential clerical tasks such as mail processing, maintaining logs for emergency contacts and resident information, monitoring security systems including alarms, and ensuring the safety and security of all who enter and reside in the community. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who can multitask efficiently while maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor at all times.

This role is integral to the smooth operation of Monarch Spring Meadows, supporting multiple departments to ensure a seamless experience for residents and visitors alike. The Concierge will also assist the Business Operations Director with administrative duties and must be committed to upholding all federal, state, and local regulations, as well as community policies and procedures. The position demands physical stamina for tasks such as standing, walking, and occasionally lifting items up to 25 pounds, so associates must be able to carry out these duties safely using proper body mechanics.

Ideal candidates for this role will possess strong interpersonal skills, allowing them to effectively relate to a diverse range of personalities, particularly within the senior population. Experience working with seniors is highly valued to better understand their needs and provide compassionate support. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications like Windows, Outlook, and Excel is necessary, along with an aptitude for learning new software to adapt to the community’s operational systems. Monarch Spring Meadows supports its staff by providing on-the-job training, flexible scheduling options, and free parking, recognizing the importance of accommodating the needs of its workforce to foster a positive working environment.

Joining Monarch Spring Meadows Senior Living means becoming part of a community committed to diversity, inclusion, and equal opportunity. The organization complies fully with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, celebrating differences and striving to create an inclusive workplace where all employees can thrive. This Concierge position offers the chance to make a meaningful difference in residents’ lives while building a rewarding career in senior living hospitality and community support.
