This particular role is for a Part-Time Concierge, a pivotal position within the QSL Management community. The Concierge serves as the first point of contact for residents, their families, guests, and employees, playing a crucial role in setting a warm, professional, and inviting tone for the entire community. Primarily working weekends with some availability on weekdays for a morning shift, the Concierge embodies hospitality and efficiency, ensuring that every visitor feels welcomed and cared for from the moment they arrive. Their responsibilities involve not only greeting and assisting but also managing front desk operations with a friendly and polished demeanor. This role is ideal for someone who loves engaging with people, enjoys serving others, and thrives in a team environment. The Concierge actively supports community activities, particularly during weekends and evenings when traffic is lighter, helping to foster a social and engaging atmosphere for residents. Proficiency in basic computer skills like Microsoft Word and Excel is preferred, alongside strong organizational, communication, and multitasking abilities. Job Requirements

  • must have a caring heart, willing to serve others
  • high school diploma or GED
  • two years general office experience, including reception experience
  • experience working with the older adult population preferred
  • professional and polished with proper grammar skills and pleasant voice tone
  • excellent interpersonal, organizational, time management and oral/written skills
  • ability to work in team environment
  • must be attentive to details, able to multi-task, and work with multiple interruptions
  • basic knowledge with Microsoft Word preferred
  • basic knowledge with Microsoft Excel preferred
  • ability to work flexible schedules in 24-hour operation including weekends and holidays as requested

Job Duties

  • offer high level hospitality to all residents, guests and employees
  • fulfills front desk responsibilities including answering the phone courteously with proper greetings and directs visitors appropriately
  • ensure that lobby and front porch area is clean and free of trash
  • assist with activities conducted in the lobby near phone and front door and lead weekend/evening activities when less traffic occurs
  • assist with other general office tasks upon request
