The role of Concierge at Provincial Senior Living is pivotal in maintaining the welcoming and supportive atmosphere that residents and their families expect. The Concierge is responsible for greeting guests, residents, and employees, managing both internal and external communications, and providing general information. This position entails performing telephone answering and reception duties, taking and relaying messages with relevant details, and assisting with various administrative tasks to support community operations. The Concierge plays a key role in facilitating daily interactions, from updating resident lists and managing appointment scheduling to organizing mail distribution. This role also requires maintaining a neat and organized reception area, thereby upholding the community’s standards of excellence.
The position requires availability during building hours from 7:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., including weekends, supporting the dynamic needs of a senior living community. In addition to delivering top-tier customer service, the Concierge helps coordinate essential services such as meal ticket preparation, dining staff support, and documentation management. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
- one to three years customer service experience and/or training

Job Duties
- Carry out telephone answering and reception duties as required
- take complete messages with pertinent information and communicate messages to the intended recipient
- greet residents and visitors, answer inquiries and give directions
- collate brochures for the marketing department
- prepare meal tickets for team members and family members, tally meal count sheets for the dining staff
- update the Resident Phone List and Roster and Move-In and Move-Out Register daily, maintain guest and sign-in logs as necessary
- manage appointments for residents and family members such as hairdresser and transportation
- maintain and keep desk and entry area neat and organized
- organize, distribute mail to residents, Executive Director, and Department Coordinators
- maintain resident forms for miscellaneous credits
- maintain adherence to all company personnel policies and established operating policies and procedures
- perform other duties as assigned
- work weekends as required during building hours 7:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
