Job Description

JLL, known formally as Jones Lang LaSalle, is a leading global provider of real estate and investment management services. The company is widely recognized for empowering its employees to shape a brighter future in the real estate industry while fostering a workplace culture that values diversity, innovation, and personal development. JLL operates by integrating world-class services, advisory expertise, and cutting-edge technology to deliver exceptional value and solutions for its clients.

JLL stands out as an employer dedicated to hiring talented professionals who are passionate about building meaningful careers—whether they have deep experience in commercial real estate, skilled trades, technology, or are looking to bring their relevant skills into this dynamic industry. This inclusiveness and commitment to growth make JLL a great place to work, thrive, and belong.

Currently, JLL is hiring for a part-time Concierge position at a retail center located on-site in Scottsdale, AZ. This role is integral to the guest experience, requiring energetic, friendly, and professional individuals who excel in customer service. The Concierge team members act as experts and key resources for guests, offering information about the property and the surrounding attractions. They serve as the face of the property, ensuring visitors receive attentive, above-and-beyond service every time they interact.

This part-time position involves a 20-hour work week, with shifts typically scheduled between 9:45 AM and 7:15 PM. The estimated compensation for this role is $19 per hour, although final offers are based on several factors including experience, education, location, and skills. Candidates are expected to maintain a professional appearance and demeanor, possess superior customer service abilities within a fast-paced environment, and be able to multitask efficiently while staying focused on both routine and unexpected tasks.

The Concierge role demands excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, an approachable personality, and proficiency in digital tools such as Microsoft Office and Google Docs. The ability to handle diverse personalities and respond quickly and genuinely to guests’ and retailers’ requests is essential. Additionally, this role requires self-motivation, teamwork, and a proud sense of ownership over both the position and the property.

As part of their duties, Concierge staff are responsible for upholding service standards, directing guests to retailers, dining, lodging, and attractions, and effectively matching services to guests’ needs. They actively support property initiatives, maintain the guest services desk stocked with current information such as maps, brochures, and event literature, and build relationships with retailers through networking. The role also involves meeting sales goals for gift cards and staying informed about local trends and events to better assist guests.

This position provides no visa sponsorship, and candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. JLL encourages all interested applicants to apply, even if they do not meet every qualification, expressing a willingness to consider diverse talents and perspectives.

In terms of benefits, JLL offers a comprehensive package that supports employee well-being on multiple levels—mental, physical, and emotional. Benefits may include a 401(k) plan with company matching, medical, dental, and vision care, paid parental leave, paid time off and company holidays, as well as early access to earned wages through Daily Pay. JLL’s supportive culture and commitment to employee wellness underscore their dedication to creating a workplace that nurtures growth and balance.
