Job Description

Village Green is a leading property management company known for its award-winning apartment communities that prioritize resident satisfaction and community engagement. With a strong commitment to providing exceptional living experiences, Village Green focuses on creating welcoming, safe, and vibrant environments for its residents. The company emphasizes excellence in customer service and community involvement, continuously striving to maintain high standards in property management and resident relations. Village Green fosters an inclusive workplace culture that values diversity and teamwork, ensuring employees feel supported and empowered in their roles. As part of their dedication to operational excellence, Village Green implements rigorous hiring processes, including background checks and drug testing, to uphold safety and trust within their communities.

The Concierge role at Village Green represents a crucial position within their apartment communities, tasked with being the first point of contact for residents, visitors, prospects, and vendors. This position is more than just a receptionist role—it combines elements of hospitality, customer service, and sales consultation. The concierge acts as the hospitality ambassador of the community, greeting everyone warmly and professionally while managing various front desk operations such as visitor check-ins, package handling, and access control. This role plays a vital part in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of lobby and shared spaces, enhancing the overall resident experience. Additionally, the concierge supports resident services by coordinating amenity reservations and following up on maintenance requests to ensure continued resident satisfaction.

Working primarily during the overnight shift from 12am to 8am, this role requires a flexible and proactive individual who can handle responsibilities during times when the leasing office may be closed or unavailable. This includes assisting with renting apartments by providing information, conducting tours, taking calls, and managing communications with prospective residents. Maintaining accurate logs such as guest registers and prospect traffic records, as well as updating the CRM system, are part of the concierge's duties to support leasing office efforts.

Moreover, the concierge contributes to community engagement by helping to coordinate events, distribute reminders and newsletters, and maintain marketing collateral. Their ability to communicate effectively, solve minor problems professionally, and work well within a team environment is essential to fostering a welcoming and responsive atmosphere in the apartment community.

Village Green offers competitive pay ranging from $17.62 to $19.25 per hour, along with a quarterly bonus incentive. This role is ideal for individuals who have persuasive sales and marketing skills, excellent communication and negotiation abilities, and a genuine commitment to outstanding customer service. Those interested in working in a dynamic, resident-focused setting where no two days are the same will find this position rewarding and impactful.
