As a company, Sunrise values meaningful relationships, teamwork, and service excellence, ensuring that both residents and team members find fulfillment in their daily interactions and contributions. The community-focused approach implemented by Sunrise Senior Living is designed to foster a welcoming, safe, and engaging atmosphere where seniors feel valued, cared for, and supported in their independence and quality of life.
Within this reputable and award-winning organization, the Concierge role is a vital position often representing the first impression that visitors, potential residents, families, and candidates experience. By balancing a warm, professional demeanor with effective communication skills, the Concierge plays a key role in advancing Sunrise’s commitment to service excellence and resident satisfaction.
This full-time position demands exceptional customer service skills, organizational abilities, and multi-tasking aptitude in a dynamic senior living environment. The Concierge is entrusted with handling phone communications appropriately, making appointments, managing messages, and ensuring the Bistro area maintains a pleasant atmosphere for all visitors and residents. Beyond daily operational activities, the Concierge also contributes to safety and risk management by monitoring community compliance with health and safety protocols and assisting in emergency procedures. The role involves supporting sales and marketing initiatives through administrative assistance and maintaining marketing materials and resident move-in protocols.
Sunrise Senior Living’s Concierge not only ensures first-class reception and operational support but also embodies the company’s principles and core values daily. The commitment to the Sacred Value of Human Life guides the Concierge’s work, emphasizing respect, dignity, and empathy towards all community members. As part of a larger team, the Concierge actively participates in engagement programs, training, and meetings aimed at continuous improvement and exemplary service delivery. The position offers opportunities for professional growth, ongoing training, and the chance to make a meaningful impact by helping seniors and their families feel welcomed, cared for, and informed.
In addition to the rewarding nature of the work, Sunrise Senior Living offers a comprehensive benefits package to support the well-being of its employees. Competitive compensation varies based on location, skills, and experience, and may include bonuses. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance plans, retirement savings options, paid time off and holidays, tuition reimbursement, and more. This role is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about senior care who want to develop a fulfilling career within a respected and compassionate organization that truly values its team members and the members they serve.
