Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role preferred
- Ability to work 12-hour day shifts
- Part-time availability at 0.60 FTE
- Ability to provide a calm, welcoming presence in a healthcare environment
- Basic computer proficiency
Job Qualifications
- Experience in customer service, hospitality, or concierge work is helpful but not required
- Ability to stay calm, kind, and present while maintaining balance and boundaries
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to handle light computer tasks and documentation
- Commitment to a mission-driven culture focused on compassion and inclusivity
Job Duties
- Greet patients, families, visitors, and staff with warmth and professionalism
- Offer clear directions and escort people when needed, especially during stressful moments
- Serve as a steady point of contact in the lobby for questions and reassurance
- Support and coordinate with lobby volunteers
- Issue visitor badges and guide vendors to the right locations
- Help maintain wheelchair availability and assist with transport as needed
- Coordinate support from Environmental Services or other departments when issues arise
