Job Description
Located in the vibrant Northside region of Atlanta, Georgia, our practice specializes in concierge medicine with a focus on delivering personalized and attentive internal medicine care. As a well-established provider of concierge internal medicine, we pride ourselves on our small patient panels, which enable our physicians to provide high-quality, accessible healthcare with a strong emphasis on patient relationships and after-hours availability. Our practice operates in a safe, thriving community with access to some of the best medical facilities in the South, including Northside Hospital, Emory Saint Joseph's, and Children’s Healthcare, all within a five-minute radius. Our location offers proximity to desirable suburbs such as Buckhead, Brookhaven, Dunwoody, Johns Creek, Alpharetta, Roswell, Sandy Springs, Virginia Highlands, and Decatur, making it an ideal setting for professionals seeking a balanced lifestyle. Beyond convenience, the area boasts award-winning schools, affordable housing, and a rich social environment with popular destinations like Lake Lanier, Truist Park, and the world’s busiest airport, Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport, all within close range. Additionally, the state of Georgia provides attractive tax benefits for retirees, including no taxation on social security benefits and a considerable deduction on retirement income, which enhances long-term financial planning for senior residents. The lower cost of living in Georgia compared to the national average further underscores the location's desirability.
Our practice model revolves around a concierge medicine approach where providers manage smaller patient panels of approximately 600 patients, contrasted to traditional practices that may see significantly higher patient loads. This unique model promotes better work-life balance and diminished provider burnout, as evidenced by our typical workday, which consists of seeing only about eight patients. This allows for longer appointments, thorough care, and meaningful patient interactions. We are currently seeking an internal medicine physician to join our team to take over the practice of a retiring internist. The retirement of this longstanding physician means a fully inherited patient panel, allowing a smooth transition and immediate engagement with an established patient base. Our well-educated patients value the access to after-hours care and respect the partnership-based care model that our physicians uphold. On average, the call volume after regular office hours is minimal, typically only one call per night, reflecting the efficiency of our system and patient satisfaction.
Joining our practice also provides the opportunity to become part of a partnership track that differs markedly from many other practices in the southern United States. This offers physicians autonomy, shared decision-making, and enhanced professional and financial growth within a supportive environment. We are looking for a dedicated internal medicine physician who values patient-centered care, desires a sustainable practice model, and thrives in a collegial and resource-rich setting. This is a full-time outpatient position that promises a rewarding career with a focus on quality over quantity and the professional satisfaction that stems from truly knowing and caring for your patients. If you are seeking a career that balances professional fulfillment with lifestyle advantages, our concierge internal medicine practice on the Northside of Atlanta represents an exceptional opportunity.
