This role requires a dedicated individual who is passionate about positively influencing the lives of the seniors they serve every day. The Concierge/Guard acts as the front line of customer service, addressing resident requests efficiently while providing safety and emergency response support within the expansive 42-acre campus. This position demands strong judgement in emergencies, excellent communication skills, and the ability to assist residents with mobility and other needs. Those employed in this role will interact closely with independent residents, providing daily opportunities to contribute to their well-being and quality of life. Job Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid NC driver's license
high school diploma or GED
strong customer service skills required
must be mature, courteous, patient, and hardworking with a sincere concern for senior citizens
strong written and verbal communication skills
ability to learn and operate a telephone console and other technology
must have weekend availability

Job Duties

Deliver a high level of customer service by taking ownership of resident requests and ensuring timely resolution
respond to resident emergency alarms, fire, and facility emergencies, showing good judgement under pressure
assist and escort residents safely throughout campus, including wheelchair assistance inside and in passenger vehicles outside throughout the 42-acre campus
conduct routine safety and facility rounds, maintain written reports, and remain alert to concerns involving residents or campus facilities
interact closely with independent residents and have regular opportunities to make a meaningful difference in their daily lives
