The company is currently seeking a full-time Concierge for The Lofts at Gloucester, a luxury multi-family property located in Blackwood, New Jersey. This role is pivotal within the leasing and management office, acting as the key point of contact for residents, prospective tenants, and visitors. The Concierge is responsible for delivering outstanding customer service and creating an inviting atmosphere that enhances the living experience for all community members.

As the first face residents and guests see, the Concierge ensures a smooth and positive interaction, handling inquiries, coordinating service requests, and engaging with the community through various touchpoints. The position requires flexibility, including weekends and evening shifts, to meet the dynamic needs of the property’s residents.

Key responsibilities include managing front desk operations, welcoming residents and visitors, distributing packages, supporting community events, and maintaining the leasing office's operational readiness. The Concierge also assists with social media updates, promoting the community’s lifestyle and available residences online.

This role demands strong communication skills, multitasking ability, and a basic understanding of property management functions such as lease coordination and maintenance assistance. Experience in customer service or property management is preferred. Candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and committed to contributing to an engaging and responsive residential community.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in property management or customer service preferred
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Basic computer proficiency including MS Office
  • Ability to multitask and handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously
  • Must be reliable and have a professional demeanor

Job Duties

  • Oversee the front desk warmly greeting residents guests vendors and contractors
  • Provide community and amenity information assist residents with key gate card requests facilitate inquiries
  • Offer refreshments to guests waiting to meet with a leasing consultant
  • Assist with service requests by entering them into the system or guiding residents on self-submission
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of the community to provide recommendations for local dining and entertainment options
  • Engage with residents and prospective residents to enhance customer experience and resident retention
  • Support the Senior Concierge Resident Specialist and Leasing Team in planning and executing resident events such as parties movie nights and special celebrations
  • Arrange small gestures for resident milestones including birthdays engagements weddings and losses
  • Manage the package room ensuring accurate acceptance resident notifications and proper distribution
  • Maintain office cleanliness restock coffee bars and monitor office supplies
  • Prepare leasing materials such as brochures and floor plans for prospective residents
  • Ensure model and vacant units are clean and ready for tours
  • Handle opening and closing procedures for the leasing office ensuring readiness each day
  • Route calls efficiently schedule tours and appointments and assist with general inquiries
  • Provide administrative support to the Property Manager as needed
  • Oversee the weekly Sunday breakfast including shopping setup and cleanup
  • Regularly update the community's social media platforms with high-quality content showcasing the community lifestyle and promoting available units
