Job Description
The Grand Hyatt Deer Valley Hotel is a premier luxury resort located in the renowned Deer Valley ski resort, just approximately 40 minutes from the Salt Lake City International Airport. This remarkable hotel is part of a larger, innovative development that includes 17 ski lifts, 1,600 residential units, 8 hotels with a total of 1,350 rooms, 250,000 square feet of conference and retail space, and one of the world’s largest ski beaches. The Grand Hyatt Deer Valley Hotel itself boasts 436 luxury accommodations that include 381 guest rooms and 55 residential units. The Concierge role at Grand Hyatt Deer Valley is a critical, guest-facing position designed to create memorable and personalized experiences for visitors during the ski season. This position serves as a key representative of the hotel, responsible for providing expert advice on local attractions, assisting guests with reservations for dining, transportation, and activities, and ensuring guests receive timely and professional responses to their needs. The Concierge helps foster outstanding guest satisfaction by maintaining collaborative relationships with local partners and vendors to enhance guest offerings. This role requires a strong knowledge of the local area, especially ski services and seasonal events, excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and flexibility to accommodate a schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
