Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum of two years clerical experience

- experience with admissions and discharges in a long-term care facility is a plus

Job Duties
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with guests, families, visitors, healthcare vendors, and all team members
- collaborate with Admissions Director, Clinical Liaison, and Nursing Staff on impending admissions
- verify specific required services in anticipation of guest's individual needs
- welcome all new guests and families in a pleasant, professional manner and provide tours of the facility
- introduce new guests to staff, roommates, and other guests
- inspect rooms to ensure the environment is clean, furniture is properly placed, and all items necessary for guest's comfort and success are present
- stock rooms with amenities
- support the Admissions Director by reviewing the census daily and communicate current open beds and anticipated discharges to ensure efficient bed management
- coordinate admission paperwork from clinical liaison and admissions director for in-house approval
