Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two years of clerical or administrative experience
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Patient and composed demeanor
- Customer service orientation
- Ability to work Tuesday through Saturday, 35 hours per week
- Familiarity with long-term care facility admissions is preferred
Job Qualifications
- Two years of general clerical experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to demonstrate composure, patience, and customer focus
- Experience with admissions and discharges in a long-term care facility is a plus
- Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport and trust with residents and team members
Job Duties
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with guests, families, visitors, healthcare vendors, and team members
- Collaborate with Admissions Director, Clinical Liaison, and Nursing Staff on impending admissions
- verify required services for residents
- Welcome new guests and families professionally and provide facility tours
- Inspect rooms to ensure cleanliness, proper furniture placement, and availability of amenities
- Support the Admissions Director by reviewing census and communicating bed availability
- Coordinate admission paperwork for in-house approval
