The Concierge at Havenwood of Maple Grove is responsible for greeting residents, guests, prospective employees, vendors, suppliers, and outside service providers with warmth and professionalism. This role requires a hospitality-focused mindset combined with a compassionate approach to senior engagement. Besides serving as the primary point of contact for visitors, the Concierge also manages telephone communications, handles inquiries, and ensures that issues are addressed promptly and appropriately. This position is vital in maintaining the community’s reputation for outstanding service, support, and care.

In addition to greeting and assisting people, the Concierge plays an important role behind the scenes by accepting delivery packages, notifying residents, preparing maintenance work orders, and supporting administrative tasks alongside the Business Office Manager. This multifaceted role requires someone who is organized, proactive, and dependable, with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a positive and professional demeanor throughout each shift.

Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • experience in customer service or hospitality preferred
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • strong problem-solving abilities
  • ability to maintain professional composure under stress

Job Duties

  • greet residents, guests, prospective employees, suppliers, vendors, and outside service providers in a warm and professional manner
  • provide ongoing telephone coverage and resolve issues presented by residents, guests, vendors, and suppliers promptly and appropriately
  • maintain a professional and welcoming demeanor in all interactions, especially during difficult situations
  • accept delivery packages and notify residents of their arrivals
  • prepare maintenance work orders as requested by residents and staff
  • assist the Business Office Manager with various projects and assignments
