The position entails performing a variety of security duties in accordance with contract agreements and site-specific post orders. Responsibilities range from access control for guests, tenants, and vendors, to enforcement of company and client policies and protocols. Security officers are tasked with the continuous observation and documentation of any security or safety hazards, including completing routine foot patrols in and around assigned facilities. Reporting any incidents or relevant issues to operations managers, clients, and departmental supervisors is a critical component of daily assignment completion. The role involves engaging professionally with a wide array of individuals including visitors, employees, clients, public safety officials, and the general public. Physical demands of the job include the ability to work in variable weather conditions, stand and walk for prolonged periods, perform light physical tasks such as bending and lifting, as well as spend time seated for security monitoring and computer-based work.
Applicants must meet certain qualification criteria, notably being at least 21 years of age with exceptional customer service aptitude. Candidates are expected to effectively multitask and demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and site-specific security software. Verifiable work experience of at least one year is mandatory, with alternative qualifications such as military service, concierge roles, or an associate or bachelor degree in a related field also considered favorably. Job Duties
- Access control for guests, tenants and vendors
- Enforcement of client and company policies and procedures
- Observation and reporting of security and safety hazards
- Conduct of routine foot patrols in and around building
- Reporting of all pertinent issues and incidents to the operations manager, the client and other Admiral/ADM department managers as appropriate
- Interaction with a variety of persons including clients, visitors, public safety officials, employees and the general public
- Other duties as assigned
