The Full-Time CDL Driver & Concierge role at Springmoor is a unique and rewarding position that goes beyond traditional driving responsibilities. This position blends safe, professional transportation services with exceptional, high-touch customer service. The individual in this role serves as an essential, trusted presence in the daily lives of residents, ensuring safety, respect, and comfort in every interaction. This role involves transporting residents safely across a variety of vehicles including passenger cars, SUVs, wheelchair-accessible vans, and buses seating between 14 to 29 passengers. Travel destinations include local areas like Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill, occasional regional outings, and regular on-campus shuttle services.
In addition to driving, the CDL Driver & Concierge assists residents with mobility support such as helping with wheelchairs and walkers, emphasizing safety and dignity. The role also includes responsibilities supporting the Concierge and Security teams, such as assisting residents around campus, managing light vehicle upkeep, and coordinating traffic and parking to maintain smooth operations. The position requires maintaining accurate logs, trip documentation, and other reports, while embodying a friendly, dependable, and professional demeanor.

Job Requirements
- high school diploma or ged
- north carolina commercial driver's license (cdl) with passenger endorsement (class c or higher
- no airbrake requirement)
- clean driving record

Job Duties
- deliver exceptional customer service by taking ownership of resident needs and ensuring follow-through
- safely transport residents using a variety of vehicles including passenger cars, suvs, wheelchair vans, and 14- to 29-passenger buses
- assist residents in and out of vehicles including wheelchair and walker support with a strong focus on safety, dignity, and comfort
- operate scheduled transportation throughout raleigh, durham, chapel hill, and occasional regional outings, as well as on-campus shuttle service
- support the concierge and security teams as needed including assisting residents on campus, light vehicle upkeep, and traffic/parking coordination
- maintain accurate logs, trip documentation, and required reports
- serve as a friendly, dependable, and professional presence creating meaningful daily interactions with residents
