Job Description
Regal Cinemas is a leading motion picture exhibitor in the United States, known for providing a premier movie-going experience with state-of-the-art facilities, diverse film selections, and a focus on exceptional customer service. As part of the global Cineworld Group, Regal operates hundreds of theaters nationwide, offering guests access to the latest blockbusters, independent films, and special events. With a commitment to community engagement and entertainment innovation, Regal creates a welcoming environment where movie lovers can enjoy their favorite films in comfort and style.
The role of the Concierge at Regal Cinemas is vital in delivering outstanding guest service and enhancing the overall movie-going experience. Classified based on theater needs and employee availability, this position can be variable hour, part-time fixed, part-time regular, or full-time hourly. The primary responsibility of the Concierge is to assist guests in obtaining information and authorized movie tickets for films of their choice from the box office. As the first point of contact for guests, the Concierge acts as the theater's goodwill ambassador, representing the company's values and mission through exceptional service and professionalism.
This position requires a thorough understanding of the Regal Crown Club Program, handling various payment methods including cash, credit cards, gift cards, and coupons, and managing passes and discount tickets in accordance with company policy. The Concierge is entrusted with maintaining the accuracy of the cash drawer, recording daily transactions, performing refund and void procedures correctly, and adhering to sell-out protocols. Knowledge of the Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA) rating system is essential to ensure compliance with age restrictions and guest safety.
Beyond transactional tasks, the Concierge must also be familiar with the theater's emergency, evacuation, and robbery procedures, apply good guest service techniques, and uphold dress code standards. Responsibilities include performing general cleaning duties, handling ticket printer stock, and ensuring all guests are greeted warmly and thanked sincerely to foster a positive atmosphere.
Regal values the personal and professional growth of its team members. The Concierge role includes participation in a cast certification program, promoting ongoing training including topics like sexual harassment and discrimination prevention. The position encourages a respectful workplace and adherence to all federal and state labor regulations, ensuring an inclusive and supportive environment.
This role offers competitive hourly pay with opportunities for growth within a respected entertainment company. Team members enjoy unique benefits such as free movie passes, discounted concessions, and eligibility for a 401(k) retirement plan with company match after meeting age and service requirements. Joining Regal Cinemas as a Concierge means being part of a dynamic team dedicated to delivering memorable experiences to moviegoers every day.
