The role of Concierge Director at The Tradition Senior Living's Houston - Buffalo Speedway community is a vital leadership position within the organization. This role involves managing and training the concierge team, ensuring outstanding front desk service, and creating a welcoming and positive impression for both residents and visitors. The Concierge Director is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations including scheduling services, handling communications, maintaining security protocols, and responding to emergencies when necessary. Reporting directly to the Executive Director, the Concierge Director plays a crucial role in supporting the overall functioning of the concierge department and enhancing the resident experience. This position offers an excellent opportunity for professionals who are passionate about customer service, team leadership, and contributing to the high standards of luxury senior living environments. Job Requirements

  • Ability to meet and exceed the expectations listed for the concierge job description
  • At least one year of experience with front desk management in a hotel or similar setting or equivalent experience and education
  • Exhibits an energetic positive demeanor with a caring, compassionate attitude
  • Ability to effectively read, write and communicate in English
  • Ability to direct, supervise and coordinate the work of others and motivate positive performance
  • Possesses sound organizational and time management skills
  • Possesses good judgment, problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Possesses sound computer and related software programs abilities
  • Ability to handle emergency situations in a professional and calm manner
  • Ability to maintain confidential matters

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Carries out telephone answering and reception duties as required
  • Takes complete messages with pertinent information and communicates messages to the intended recipient
  • Manages schedules for the concierge team
  • Training and delivery of in-services for the team
  • Ensure security protocols are followed
  • Help with coordination of move ins
  • Greets residents and visitors
  • Answers inquiries and gives directions
  • Manages appointments for residents and family members such as but not limited to hairdresser, transportation, etc.
  • Maintains and keeps desk and entry area neat and organized
  • Organizes, distributes mail to residents, Executive Director and Department Coordinators
  • Maintains adherence to all company personnel policies and established operating policies and procedures
  • Other duties as assigned
